Mis Raíces [My Roots]

This little film is half documentary, half fiction and is about a young woman who is about to decide whether she should leave her city life behind and take over her parents’ livestock farm in the village.

She meets sheep farmers who have participated in the transhumance with their herds and asks them for their experience.

The farmers are true farmers and have been participating, some of them various times, in transhumance projects organized by Ernestine – on their Handy, they show her videos from their herds in the North.

In the conversation with Ernestine she convinces herself to become a livestock farmer and then shares the decision with her mother on the phone.
